The Last Judgment (Michelangelo)
Artist : Michelangelo
Year : 1536-1541
Type : Fresco
Location : Sistine Chapel, Vatican city.

The Last Judgement is the fresco of Michelangelo, a well-known painter of the Renaissance of Italy which includes the entire goddess of the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City. It is marked by the Second Coming of Christ and the final judgement of lord for all mankind. By Christ the prominent Sadhgfan it is judged that human souls are uplifted and descended on their dignity.

It took about 4 years from 1536 to 1541 to complete the work. From the Sistine Chapel ceiling, Michelangelo began working on it, which was about twenty-five years later. By the time it was finished, it was almost 1567 years. Michelangelo received a commission from Pope Clement VII, but it was completed under Pope Paul III.

Michelangelo , on the lower left side of the fresco, followed the direction of the preserved arches, and the practice of declining to the right. At the top of the picture , the inhabitants of Heaven join the new saved. The fresco ceiling is more monochromatic than the frescoes and is dominated by the shape of the sky.  Fresco’s cleaning and restoration, however, revealed a much wider range of color than before. The complex scene is merged with splashes of orange, blue and yellow.

From the beginning of the film all mixed comments were facing. Both the artistic and theological
criticism were criticized in the face of overwhelming prise. There is a lot of controversy over the
muscular style of the body and the amount of nudity.

Where historical compositions are in a general order, in contrast to the heavenly world, the turbulent events that occur most commonly in the earthly life, the paintings are arranged alike, according to Michelangelo’s thinking.
